Cupcake Container

Free Crochet Pattern: Cupcake Container

 Materials:
Yarns
  • brown
  • white
  • variegated
  • red
  • green
glue gun & glue stick
scissor
crochet hook
fiber fill
plastic can ( I used q-tips can)
Note: This is only guide, you can increase/decrease the size/length 
Body:
Using brown
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in each sc around (30)
Rnd 7: dc in back loops in each sc (30)
Rnd 8-18: *front post , back post double crochet* repeat around (30)
fasten off and glue it on the can

Lid/Frosting:
Using white
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6-15: sc in each sc around
Rnd 16: 2 sc in front loop in each sc around (60)
Rnd 17: *sc, skip, 5 dc, skip, sc* repeat around
fasten off

Cherry:
Using red
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3-4: sc in each sc around (12)
stuff wiht fiber fill
Rnd 5: 2sc together, 3 times (6)
fasten off

Stem:
Using green
Chain 15 and fasten off.
Assembly: 
Attach/sew the stem on the cherry.
Attach/sew the cherry in the cupcake frosting.
Use the variegated yarn for sprinkles, sew it around on cupcake frosting.
Stuff the frosting with fiber fill and glue it on the can lid.
